Dear Sisters and Brothers in the UEM community, Today we are writing to you to ask you to pray for the country of Indonesia. On April 17, the country will elect a new president, vice president, and House of Representatives. Our sisters and brothers from the Indonesian member churches have asked us to pray for a peaceful election process, and for a result that will keep the unity and plurality of the country and that will ensure continuing religious freedom. Please pray that nobody will use religious issues to create conflicts and tension. And please pray for all those who are working to keep good relations between believers of different faiths!
